In the Travel Sellers area working with medium, strategic, and high potential travel agencies, we focus on driving business growth through effective selling strategies, as well as maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers.

Summary of the role:

Manage the commercial relationship of existing and potential customers within an assigned territory or a group of accounts, in cooperation with the areas like Pre-Sales, Customer Success Management and other teams along Amadeus to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and profitability. Identify new business opportunities based on Amadeus values and Amadeus commercial policies to contribute to sustaining and growing Amadeus market share and revenues getting long-term success with the customers.

In this role you’ll:

Retain and grow existing market shares and revenues:

Adopt a consultative approachIdentify specific requirements and expectations for existing clientsFollow-up with Customer Experience and ensure that customer satisfaction is increasedIdentify new opportunities and propose solutions to improve customer profitability/efficiency.Develop customized account and account development plans (ADP) for each client and update CRM with all opportunities related to customersDevelop Amadeus share of wallet for customers in the portfolio to increase Amadeus market share

Manage all commercial matters related to accounts:

Execute & process the operational requests received from customerEnsure that customers use Amadeus technology in the best way & that established performance, productivity & service metrics are achievedCascade the information of new product & solution releases to customers in a timely mannerAnticipate information and new market regulation/trends/issues for the customer.Work with IT Sales/ITAM or Customer Solutions to retain and grow IT portfolioOrganize regular business reviews for follow-up purposes and deep-dive sessions on specific itemsWork closely with Commercial Operations to get business cases approved for renewal and development of market share
 

About the ideal candidate:

Relevant Work Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience in technology or travel industry with 2 years in a customer fronting role (such as project management, sales, customer success or business development) with management responsibility for multi-million dollar revenues.

Education

University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Tourism, Engineering or equivalent IT related work experience

Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.Ability to analyse objectives, considers options and plans.Proactive FocusNegotiations skillsRelationship-building skillsProblem solvingAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in English
