The role of this Accounting Agent will be the handling and accounting of the accounts receivables which will include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring the incoming payments and securing revenue by verifying and posting deposits (cash and credit card deposits) from the different sales channels including City Ticket Office, Airport, BSP and Cargo sales and the accounting of them. 

The duties will also include the preparation and filing of the ticketable tax returns (AR, TQ, QO, O5, Q1, ZK and S5 Taxes) for Argentina and also the ticketable and non-ticketable taxes for Uruguay (UY Tax and Effective Reciprocity Tax). 

The Agent will also be responsible for the e-invoicing of the Cargo operations and will work collaboratively with the preparation of Cashflows.

Responsabilities\:

Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.  Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, accounting and posting of accounts receivables’ data.  Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments (cash and credit card) are accounted for and are properly posted.  Reconcile any irregularities in credit card and cash payments.  Generate and deliver reports to H.Q.s and to local management.  Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in incoming payments.  Preparation and filing of ticketable tax returns in Argentina and ticketable and non-ticketable tax returns in Uruguay.  E-invoicing of Cargo transactions.  Preparation of Cashflows.  In a communication role, this position is the liaison between the local Finance Department and the airport and sales staff and must ensure that they send accurate revenue information to prepare the sales reports and tax returns.  Provide proactive support to managers identifying and assessing performance improvement opportunities.  Work collaboratively with other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances. *

Fluent in English & Spanish language, oral and written. French and other languages are an asset.
