Ecolab is seeking an Associate Accountant to join our Finance team. In this entry level position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and financial controls for specific business groups.

What You Will Do:

Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledgerPrepare reconciliations of general ledger account balances, identifying and resolving reconciling itemsAssist with maintenance of fixed assets, including asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers and construction in progressUpdate various reports with current month-end information (discretionary spend, intercompany detail, allocation entry)Prepare basic financial reports.

Qualifications:

Student in Accounting or Business Administration (accounting background).Candidate must reside in CABA or GBAProficient in Excel, SAP (preferred)Intermediate English knowledge (will be evaluated)Ability to work independently and a self-starter.Strong attention to detail, with sensitivity to deadlinesResult oriented, proactive, and possess a high level of integrity.
