Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget).Evaluate required prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to starting work.Produces part(s) of detailed design specifications for TSI (Telecomm and Security Integrated Solutions).Executes technical work assignment to proper standards and quality systems.Executes test work assignments to proper standards and quality systems.Executes documentation work assignments to proper standards and quality systems.Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to project lead engineer or project managerYOU MUST HAVEBachelor´s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Systems, or 8+ years of experience in those subjects in lieu of degree.Experience in design, configuration and commissioning of Access Control, Digital Video Surveillance and Intrusion Detection systems.Experience in design, configuration and commissioning of LAN/WAN Systems, preferent with Cisco switches, routers and firewalls. Knowledge in wireless router/access point configuration.Experience with Microsoft Windows Servers and Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, VLANs, WSUS and Terminal Server.Experience with VMWare software, Virtual Machines and Hypervisor platforms.Troubleshooting skills to resolve network, application or system integration fails.Ability in the development of engineering documentation through the use of design programs such as AutoCAD and Visio, also good command of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).Comfortable working both in office and industrial environments.Comfortable taking domestic and international travel during specified periods of time. 50% + of travel time may be required for this position.Upper-Intermediate English level.Location: Buenos Aires – ArgentinasWE VALUEHaving worked before with Honeywell Industrial Security Systems.Experience in engineering design, preferably with Honeywell products.On site work experience (Survey, Supervision, SAT, Commissioning).CCNA / VCP Certifications.Ability to support Estimating and Sales Teams.Willingness to adapt quickly to changes and easily learn and develop in innovative technologies.Multilingual and International collaboration, great willingness to work as a Team and share knowledge and experiences with peers.A growth mindset and curiosity to understand what customers need and what creates value.Individuals who are initiative-taking and able to work with little supervision, facing problems openly and directly before events force them to do so.Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organization skillsAdditional InformationJOB ID: HRD223948Category: EngineeringLocation: Carlos Pellegrini 179,Buenos Aires,BUENOS AIRES,C1009ABC,ArgentinaExemptEngineering (GLOBAL)
