Kik, our messaging brand, is looking for a savvy experienced Android Engineer to join their talented team. As an Android Engineer you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving current features on the existing Kik’s app, our mobile messaging brand that has had over 300 million installations and hosts over 1 billion messages every day. We are looking for a passionate developer who loves to tackle new challenges, learn new frameworks and technologies, and work alongside other stellar developers.What You'll DoOwn the development, testing and maintenance of Kik’s appShip reliable software through test automation and code reviewsFix bugs and improve application performanceBe able to document the work and help plan for the futureWork with a small team to produce and ensure delivery of quality, readable and well-tested codePartner with business stakeholders to deliver features on time and to specificationPromote the adoption of new technologies while continuously advancing and evolving our legacy codebase as well as refine our best  practices and processesWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 3+ years of native android development experience.
