Ecolab is seeking an Associate Accountant to join our Finance team. In this entry level position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and financial controls for specific business groups.

What You Will Do:

Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledgerPrepare reconciliations of general ledger account balances, identifying and resolving reconciling itemsAssist with maintenance of fixed assets, including asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers and construction in progressUpdate various reports with current month-end information (discretionary spend, intercompany detail, allocation entry)Prepare basic financial reports

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in accounting or finance

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in Excel and AccessAbility to work independently and a self-starter2 years of experience in accountingStrong attention to detail, with sensitivity to deadlinesResult oriented, proactive, and possess a high level of integrity
