Position Overview

 

Reports to RCC South Cone Senior Manager, providing support along with third parties for accounting, taxes, and any other Argentina local authorities’ requirements. Work along with the RCC on the review of monthly accounting activities in a safe internal control environment.

 

You are responsible for:

 

Accounting:

Provide support to the South Cone´s controller on the review of the local statements by accomplishing with the IFRS. Oversees month-end close activities and financial reporting for statutory and USGAAP books. Maintain close visibility over designated technical processes to ensure compliance with global policies and procedures. Local point-of-contact for specific accounting process-related matters, including tax and statutory reporting considerations across the business functions.  Analyze and review the USGAAP and statutory financial statement trend monthly. Ensures effective internal control environment. Review complex and significantly material journal entries and account reconciliation related inventory, fixed assets, accruals and other areas of operations Attend tax Audit, finance internal and external audits and any other local authority requirements. Participate and lead accounting improvement projects. Solve issues of moderate complexity with a minimum supervision Any other support required by Management.

 

Qualifications

Studies of Accounting, Finance, or other related fields. At least 4 years of experience in accounting similar positions Knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP  Analytical skills: decision-making approach and ability to solve problems easily within minimum time-span. Critical thinking; verbal as well as written communication skills, listening power Ability to work in groups. Excel intermediate level required. English intermediate level required.

Chile Statutory fiscal knowledge USGAAP knowledge
