Job Description

Corporate Treasury & Chief Investment Office (“CTC”) is a critical function within the Office of the CFO. The group is responsible for firmwide asset and liability management, including the Firm's liquidity and capital positions, establishing funds transfer pricing policy, and managing structural interest rate and foreign exchange ("FX") risks on behalf of the Firm.

The TCIO LATAM CFO Team is looking to add a dynamic associate to support the Corporate Treasury mandate in the LATAM Region, across multiple countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily P&L & risk production and analysis, month-end close, and other financial analysis and reporting, along with developing key partnerships with Local Treasurers, LEC, Risk, FTP teams and other Lines of Businesses throughout the region. 

 

Job responsibilities

P&L and Risk (daily) production, reporting and analysis, partnering with Front Office to demonstrate a thorough understanding of results and business drivers Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management Develop and maintain a sound control environment supporting P&L and balance sheet production, reconciliation and reporting processes  Partner with LEC and Lines of Businesses to understand business activity and other initiatives with implications for Corp Treasury Balance sheet, RWA and regulatory reporting (local and U.S)  Liaise with Financial Control to support month-end close and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and results  Drive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control, production and reporting issues Work with FTP, CTMO and LOB finance teams to support and execute existing FTP framework, as well as implement change 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

3+ years of professional experience within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to challenge process efficiency, drive change and innovate with a control mindset Excellent communication skills with ability to develop strong working relationships and partnerships  Demonstrated understanding of financial products, a bank’s balance sheet, and associated accounting concepts Strong technical skills – advanced in Excel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with P&L and trade capture systems and general ledger flows Knowledge of interest rates and FX products, and FX exposure management Funds Transfer Pricing knowledge/experience  Experience in accounting of Bonds, Repo/Cash and interest rates derivative products Experience with Tableau, Alteryx and high degree of comfort working with large data sets is advantageous
