Engagement Manager, Prototyping, PACE
As an Engagement Manager, you will work with AWS customers and account teams to identify and qualify opportunities for Prototyping, that would benefit from PACE involvement. You will partner closely with Prototype Solution Architects and AWS account teams to ensure successful delivery of customer engagements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other AWS Sales teams. You will continually seek out ways to improve existing communication channels and processes to help us better reach and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.





Key job responsibilities
- Qualify engagement opportunities with AWS account teams and customers, diving deep to understand their goals, application development challenges on AWS, and identify opportunities suitable for a PACE team engagement
- Build pipeline for customer engagement opportunities by proactively reaching out and building relationships with senior leadership and decision makers in the customer development space
- Support Prototype SAs during engagements by proactively identifying risks, resolving blockers and escalating where appropriate to ensure successful project completion
- Track and follow up on completed engagements, capturing feedback, and ensuring additional opportunities are followed through by the account team
- Own communication strategy to raise awareness of PACE both internally and externally- including team page, internal enablement, first call decks, and customer references
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business (Sales, Marketing, Partner, ProServ) to accelerate developer initiatives and implement scaling mechanisms

About the team
The AWS Prototyping and Customer Engineering (PACE) team offers a direct customer engagement program, working with customer development teams over a number of weeks, to help accelerate the design and delivery of pre-agreed and representative use cases from their roadmap. Over the course of an engagement, PACE delivers tailored co-development sessions, aligned to the customer team's specific enablement needs, with a focus on building cloud-native workloads.
