EOSS Product Manager Intern (stage)

Information regarding the Job Position

For the position of EOSS Product Manager intern (stage), we are looking for a talented person, with limited or no previous job experience. She/He will be part of the Product Management team in the Electronic and Optical Sensing Solutions (EOSS) business unit, based in Palermo. We offer a six-month paid internship.

She/He will gain experience on EOSS High-Voltage/Medium-Voltage Asset Management product portfolio, both hardware and software, and drive their development cycle. Furthermore, she/he will support the design of new innovative products, from the concept to the introduction on the market.

Some of the responsibilities are:

Understanding customers’ needs and think new products that can solve their problems, always looking for new opportunities and improvements.Make a strategy and a roadmap for the development and deployment of the product, combining ambition with rationality and pragmatism.Plan and guide all the stakeholders in the execution.Learn from errors.

Required Knowledge And Expertises

Must Have

Master’s degree in one of the following fields or equivalent: Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Automation, Computer Science, Mechanics.Very good conversational and technical English for communication at international level (B2/C1).Strong interest in Information Technology.

Even if not a must, it would be great if you are knowledged in one or many of the following knowledges and expertise:

Nice to have

Able to perform autonomously literature review and know how to write scientific papers (e.g. same as writing a Master Thesis).Knowledge of networking and IT principlesOne or more programming languages (e.g. Python, C/C++, Matlab)Basic knowledge of OS LinuxBasic experience with common electronics lab tools, such us solder iron, oscilloscope, signal/voltage generator, …
