EOSS Test Engineer

Job brief

We are looking for a Test Engineer who will thoroughly inspect our products before delivering.

Based in EOSS Palermo, Italy.

As a Test Engineer in our company, you will work within quality department and closely with R&D, Production and Product Managers.  You will run tests through all stages of product development, production and field validation tests, on both HW and SW components, to identify potential malfunctions and contribute to continual improvement.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure our final products meet our safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, safety standards)Run quality controls on components and final productsDevelop test environments and test casesAnalyze test results, detect issues and report them to the responsible departmentDocument technical issues and solutionsEnsure our products and procedures meet our safety and quality standardsSupport internal teams (based in Italy and in Switzerland) in dealing with clients with relation to quality matters. 

Requirements and skills

MSc in Industrial Engineering or Software Engineering or relevant fieldPrevious experience in testing  and validationFamiliarity with various testing techniquesFluency in EnglishHands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)Great troubleshooting skillsAnalytical mindsetAbility to combine technical knowledge with communication and liaison skillsAvailability to travelKnowledge of scripting on Windows / Linux a plus Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards a plusCapability of building automated testing systems for regular checks a plus
