Financial Analyst - LATAM Payments Business Manager

Business Management (BM) team supports the Payments business which plays a critical role in the infrastructure and capabilities that enable money movement globally. The team is engaged in both supporting BAU business objectives, as well as shaping the go-forward strategic vision of the business, working with a wide range of product, line of business and functional partners.

 

We are looking for a growth minded Business Manager to support our Sales Business Manager Team in LATAM, as to support Payments Business Transformation, which is a strategic and execution-focused role. Payments sits at the intersection of finance and technology in an industry undergoing a major transformation. Business Transformation supports the business on a project basis, where projects are team-based and include regular interaction with J.P. Morgan Payments executives. This is a highly visible role across the Payments organization and offers the ability to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders. A learning mindset is essential.

 

Role Responsibilities:

Support the team as a liaison between Line of business, business management, Functional Finance teams and other support teams in order to provide impactful reporting and insightful analysis Track and understand trends in Latin America Payments booked fees and deal pipeline activity Support producing presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management; participate and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed Built and/or maintain various databases to monitor proprietary deal-related information not available in public sources to facilitate enhanced business analyses. Facilitate and manage various data-based initiatives, client coverage organization; headcount and organization projections; talking points for senior management meetings. Prepare and summarize Sales performance Key Performance Indicators used in year-end evaluation and compensation decisions. Develop, consolidate and present qualitative and quantitative financial analysis. Connect with key stakeholders: firm-wide, Functional Finance and lines of business teams

 Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment.  Bachelor's Degree, or expected graduation date before June 2024, in financial careers such as Economy / Business Administration/ Industrial Engineer or related.  Excellent organizational, both verbal and written communication skills Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations Detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously Fluent in English
