Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM is seeking for an experienced General Coordinator Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M - Underground Metro Line for employment in Bogota, Colombia.** **The responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Responsible for the coordination of all technical activities related to rolling stock (trains), railway systems and equipment and to be carried out by the team of expert specialists under his/her charge, which the Consultant will incorporate for the due fulfillment of his/her responsibilities. He or she will act as a liaison between the entire team of specialists and the technical director/manager. + Project Planning: Contribute to the development of project plans controls for Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M works. Work closely with the technical director/manager to align plans controls with overall PMO and Project objectives. + Team Coordination: Coordinate the activities of the team of expert specialists assigned to Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M PMO tasks. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members. + Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance to the team to ensure that PMO project requirements are met. Monitor the quality and compliance of work performed by specialists. + Schedule Management: Assist in developing and maintaining schedules controls for Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M works. Monitor progress and address any schedule deviations promptly. + Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M works. Implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the construction contractor team. + Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes for Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M works. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections. + Reporting: Provide regular updates to the technical director/manager on the status of Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M works. Prepare comprehensive reports on technical activities and progress. + Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a liaison between the team of specialists and other project stakeholders. Address any technical concerns or issues raised by stakeholders. + Contract Compliance: Ensure that all work performed by the team complies with contract requirements. Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to address contractual issues. + Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety protocols for Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M works. Promote a culture of safety within the team. + Training and Development: Identify training needs for the team members and facilitate professional development. Foster a learning environment within the team. + Sustainability: Integrate sustainable practices into the planning and execution of Rolling Stock, Railway Equipment and Systems, O&M works. Consider environmental and social aspects in decision-making. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + BA/BS in related Engineering field + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Specific experience of at least eight (8) years in the role of director, manager or coordinator of manufacturing, assembly and testing or maintenance of Metro type mass transit railway systems or equipment, having intervened in such capacity in at least one (1) project corresponding to an automatic line. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Professional degree in engineering with specialization, doctorate, or master's degree in engineering. + 12+ years of professional experience. **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
