This role contributes to improving health, safety and environment (HSE) performance, helping the organization to deliver a high-performing culture through clear accountability and a skilled organization in the Robotics & Discrete Automation Service & Digital Platform based in CABA, Argentina. You will lead by example, applying your in-depth HSE knowledge to provide solutions and advice to address a variety of issues. You will drive behavioral change through implementing the Group-wide system, training, and providing assistance from the Center of Expertise.

Your responsibilities

Facilitates HSE risk assessment conducted by the line management and ensures all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented.Reports HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and takes appropriate actions.Facilitates, assists, and provides guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.Provides feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.Supports the HSE Manager in reporting progress with respect to the implementation of the group-level HSE objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as required.Assists the line managers and supervisors in understanding their obligations, liabilities, and requirements for role fulfillment, as per local HSE laws and group/business-specific requirements.Supports and drives behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.Supports and embeds an exemplary health and safety culture with a strong focus on the environment across their respective organization.Ensures that the appropriate HSE-related equipment and tools are available and used effectively.Contributes to and/or plans and executes HSE related projects.Develops project objectives and reports the progress to management.

Your background

Bachelor´s Degree in Safety and Health.+2 years of experience working in similar position.Experience in the area managing HSE procedures in complex structures.Current professional license.Availability to travel (approx 20 % of time per month).Advanced level of English.
