We are currently looking for a Kafka Admin to work for one of our most important clients. 

What you´ll do?

As a Kakfa administrator you will Design and implement changes to the Kafka software architecture

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement changes to existing software architecture, build highly sophisticated enhancements and optimize working code.
- Assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages, etc.) and pursue leads to perform root cause analysis..
- Implement Kafka and Kafka Streams API using Java.
- Responsible for full software lifecycle, design and development of micro services and Kafka solutions.
- Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers.
- Performing high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creating preventive measures.

Necessary skills and experience required:

-Hands-on production experience and a deep understanding of the Kafka architecture and internals of how it works, along with the interplay of architectural components: brokers, Zookeeper, producers/consumers, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams. (at least 5 years)
- Strong knowledge of the Kafka Connect framework, with experience using several connector types: HTTP REST proxy, JMS, File, SFTP, JDBC, Splunk, Salesforce, and how to support wire-format translations. Knowledge of connectors available from Confluent and the community
-Strong English/Spanish skills.
