Description and Requirements

LAS Credit Manager (Base location: Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Key responsibilities:

Overall credit risk and bad debt control for Lenovo all BGs business in Latin America Spanish speaking countries.Conduct thorough credit worthiness assessment on credit customers.Make credit decisions and credit solution recommendations including credit limit, credit rating, payment term, risk mitigation methods, etc.In charge of collateral management and credit insurance management to minimize risk exposure.Regular review on credit facility, risk exposure and keep optimizing risk portfolio. Follow up & resolve problematic accounts receivables, manage key credit metric & controls reporting.Engage with all corresponding internal sales/finance/ops teams and customers, involve in early-stage business discussion, obtain information related to customers, deals and risk points.Communication and negotiation with external partners like banks, insurers and credit agencies as required.Provide regular insight on macro economies, sovereign risks, industry trends, deliver risk alerts, take proactive actions to reduce risk levels in volatile.

Qualifications & skills:

Master’s degree in finance, accounting related areas.Credit risk management related working experience is preferred.Detail-oriented with a solid knowledge of financial analysis.Fluent English and Spanish bilingual language.Strong ability in communication and handling pressure in negotiation.Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.Self-motivated and teamwork spirit.
