  As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Network SME at JPMorgan Chase within the Merchant Services Networking team, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.  

This Subject Matter Expert position will involve day to day incident and problem management of major impacting data issues globally, proactive infrastructure management. The candidate will be the Subject Matter Expert in Firewall (Checkpoint) technologies attending bridge calls, address tickets, and work hand in hand with the Tier 4/PE organizations on items such as bug fixes, design changes, and code upgrades.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Proven experience managing various large-scale enterprise network topologies including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security&Services. Examples include Routers (Cisco – ASR/GSR/Nexus/Juniper) Switches (Cisco), Wireless (Cisco), Transport (Cisco/Ciena). Firewall (Fortinet/Check Point/Cisco), Load Balancers (Cisco and F5), Proxy (Blue Coat), Etc. Certifications in these areas preferred Responsible for ensuring platforms, servers, and networks are online and secure Evaluating, selecting, implementing, integrating, maintaining, upgrading, documenting and designing our infrastructure Finding new and creative solutions to troubleshoot and resolve issues Communicating effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other teams Managing incidents and problems of major impacting data issues globally Proactive infrastructure management Acting as the Subject Matter Expert in Firewall (Checkpoint) technologies Attending bridge calls, addressing tickets, and working closely with the Tier 4/PE organizations on items such as bug fixes, design changes, and code upgrades GTIARGALL
