As a Machinist you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tWorks under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area\r\n\tOperate various types of CNC machines to produce parts conforming to print requirements, may include basic program adjustments to meet quality and schedule requirements\r\n\tMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDemonstrate an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and basic print reading\r\n\tPerforms basic daily maintenance or checks for machines\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tWill make more complex program or tooling adjustments to produce conforming parts\r\n\tOperate a 2 axis lathe and hold .0005 tolerances\r\n\tOperate a 4th axis mill\r\n\tPerform First Part Inspections for all lathe and mill operations\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tOther duties as necessary\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a 1st Shift Position Monday-Thursday 5:30am- 4pm - Pay: is $27-35/hr

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPrevious experience in production and quality control methods (ISO9001, AS9100 etc.) preferred.\r\n\tPrevious experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation and production systems preferred.\r\n\tPossesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThree years industry experience or demonstrated capabilities\r\n\tMachinist Certification and/or demonstrated capabilities\r\n\r\n\r\n
