Are you an ambitious and proven Market Development specialist looking for a unique opportunity to contribute to world-class proteomics research? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Market Program Manager - Core/Functional Proteomics to join our exceptional team in the United States.

 

The specialist would serve as a program manager and subject matter authority within Life Sciences OMICS Marketing, supporting focus areas, including immunopeptidomics! They will apply scientific expertise and market research to identify key application needs, market development trends and opportunities for overall market growth while also enabling customers to accelerate their science on the cutting edge of mass spectrometry.

Responsibilities:

Determine market needs and trends in the field of Core/Functional Proteomics, including quantitative proteomics and immunopeptidomics segmentsCreate and implement marketing programs to proficiently carry out market strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and ensure execution of marketing campaigns.Publish technical/application notes, posters, peer-reviewed articles and various marketing collateral in support of the core proteomics, quantitative proteomics and immunopeptidomics strategic marketing planPresent methods/workflows and notable solutions at conferences and internal/external meetingsConduct market research to identify new growth opportunitiesCompete in the market by positioning our products as the preferred choice for researchersTrain sales and/or customers on our workflow and deliver key propositioning information relevant to core proteomics, quantitative proteomics and immunopeptidomicsInteract with the global commercial teams to support pre- and post- sales requirementsMonitor and analyze market data to identify areas for improvementEngage with customers and key opinion leaders to gather insights and drive product developmentWork with R&D, product management, product marketing across different business units to implement a go-to-market plan for applicable products

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field, advanced degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in the life sciences industryStrong knowledge of proteomics, chromatography, mass spectrometry and related technologiesDemonstrated history of creating and implementing successful marketing initiatives and customer engagementsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsEstimated 40% of domestic and international travel

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $112,500.00–$168,500.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
