We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, along with hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks. Working REMOTELY from any part of LATAM. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow while working closely with our talented team. Duration of contract: 3 months  Requirements  + Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on both manual and automated testing. + Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. + Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. + Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for test automation. + Experience with version control systems. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Advanced English. Main Activities + Create and maintain test plans and strategies. + Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance. + Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects and identify areas for improvement. + Document test results, defects, and any deviations from expected behavior. + Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools/frameworks. + Implement and maintain test automation infrastructure and frameworks. + Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues. + Report defects accurately and efficiently using designated defect tracking tools. + Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects in a timely manner. + Verify defect fixes and ensure proper closure of defects.
