Short Description for Internal or External Candidates – Associate (601)

Role Overview: Access to key business systems is one of the top priorities for JPMorgan Chase & Co. To manage cybersecurity and business risk within the firm, we operate a number of key access management controls to keep those risks to a minimum while still maintaining a secure, efficient operating business environment. To achieve such goals, we need to design, enhance and drive controls so that they are aligned to the needs of the business while balancing with the necessary governance and policies on cybersecurity. 

We are a team that designs profiles in a logical manner so targeted groups of employees receive automated access using a tool designed and maintained by the Identify Access Management Global team. As the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) team we design these automated proposals for the different lines of business across the Corporate & Investment Bank area, based on each business’ needs in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensure the delivery of the objectives through the full project life cycle, across multiple business lines within CIB

Actively participate in developing project structures such as building out approaches, plans, ongoing management of milestones and deliverables

Work with functional partners including Front Office teams, Control Managers, Technology Controls Officers, Application Developers, Client Services, Network Management, Operations, Technology and others to design and deliver agreed solutions

Present periodic reporting to senior management and stakeholders by providing current status of the control and trigger key discussions when required.

Develop detailed understanding of the business areas in order to design a framework that is a good fit for their needs.

Address compliance and audit requirements by putting in place strategic solutions and providing recorded evidence.

Produce Standard Operating Procedures as needed.

Analyze large amounts of data and/or reconcile to facilitate decision making.

Requirements

Demonstrated relevant work experience in Controls, Program/Project Management field, leading teams or similar role.

Advanced Excel skills is a must.

Process Improvement and Innovation mindset.

Knowledge in analytical and data analysis tools with experience in handling larger data sets.

Strong, proactive task-based approach with focus on delivery and implementation.

Ability to influence individuals and manage projects and experience with presenting a proposal or solution.

Ability to work with limited supervision and make independent decisions.

Excellent interpersonal skills, written skills and strong, broad-based communications skills - ability to discuss range of topics with a variety of business managers from operations through executive and build strong working relationships.

Self-motivated & confident with the ability to demonstrate leadership, challenging and influencing change where necessary.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology and/or field such as Information Security.

Advanced level of English. Ability to have fluent conversations and negotiations.

Desired but not Required

Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Knowledge in Tableau, Alteryx or Python is a plus.
