PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The BAC Services Cross team has an opening for a (Senior) Controller who is passionate about business steering and driving simplification, standardization, and automation. BAC Services Cross, as part of the Global Controlling team, is responsible to actively manage the Services P&Ls, as well as being a business partner to the respective business leaders. To successfully manage this task and to further strengthen our business support, we are looking for a (Senior) Controller focusing on Business Unit Controlling as well as driving key steering dimensions through a holistic management reporting to support business leaders on their transformation journey.

 

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Ensure the highest level of quality in the financial close process for the T&A LOB in North America. Drive the financial close, budgeting (BUD), and forecasting (LE) processes across all Market Units and on a regional level. Collaborate closely with Operations, Delivery Managers, and T&A Management to provide financial insights and guidance as a trusted advisor. Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and recommend strategies to optimize financial outcomes. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial close activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency in financial operations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Interact directly with top management from North America Training and Adoption LOB, Specialized Controlling, and relevant Cloud CoEs Participate in strategic projects & continuous improvement, especially in the context of simplification / automation / standardization

 

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

University degree and/or MBA in Controlling, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration 5+ years of professional work experience with a strong focus on controlling or finance processes, experience with budget and forecast processes, strong experience with common SAP applications (e.g., ISP, BW) Ability to present analysis to senior management Ability to drive complex topics in a global organization Accuracy and ability to prioritize topics and their financial impact Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving skills, strong sense of prioritization, results and execution focused Comfort with working in both a team and independently showing significant own initiative Comfort with working in virtual team Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive management Fluent English language skills oral and written
