Your Role
In your role as a Senior DataOps Engineer, you are an essential contributor to our mission of establishing a world-class developer experience. You will scope, design, and implement developer experience focused on pipeline efficiency and infrastructure for a connected development loop inspired by Platform Engineering. The aim is to enable our engineers to validate and deploy their ideas within 24 hours of conception. You will have the chance to contribute to our “developer platform” and “developer portal” initiatives. These elements are integral to any modern tech organization. You will collaborate with a skilled team to develop and sustain these vital components. You will also contribute to creating pipelines and supporting infrastructure to enable self-service workflows across these capabilities.
Key responsibilities
You will work with DataOps in the whole chain from hardware to ML and LLM using modern approach and best practices to cater business needs for TRATON.
You will create tools to aid in management and infrastructure of data.
You will enhance the current pipelines and visualisation by integrating to the developer portal.
You will encourage and improve knowledge sharing by working with peers from across the organization, sharing your experience, learning from others and contributing to our shared knowledge base.
You will evaluate the performance of our solutions and seek ways to improve them.
Qualifications
Programming experience in Python and scripting experience.
Experience with containerization, Cloud Computing (AWS or Azure preferred), Kubernetes, Kafka and Graphana.
Automation and orchestration experience including Terraform, Helm, GitLab CI, ArgoCD.
Experience in setting up monitoring for infrastructure and applications with tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, OpenTelemetry.
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting container environments.
Experience in data driven development, preferably within the ML context.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with the following is meritorious:
Developing pipelines for ML and LLM products.
Working with Big data in an industrial context.
Previous experience working with a data pipeline from distributed hardware to a central data store.
Working collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
