Classy's Checkout Experience team is hiring a Senior Front End Engineer to contribute to the development of the Classy Studio Platform. You will:

Collaborate with Product Managers and Front-End Engineers to develop features and improvements for Classy. Participate in code reviews to maintain internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices. Analyze, design, and develop software by delivering clean, maintainable code within a large, complex, and established codebase to meet our product roadmaps. Ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Recognize technical debt and propose and implement solutions. Provide mentorship to junior developers through chat, pair programming, and code reviews. Advocate for improvements to the codebase and provide leadership to others within your team. Be a valuable, contributing member of a cross-functional agile team where sharing and learning from failures is celebrated, and constructive feedback is highly encouraged.

5+ years of professional experience developing React Applications and GraphQL  Professional experience with relational or NoSQL (MySQL, MongoDB) database design in server-side, web-based technologies  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience using Git Experience working in an agile, intensely iterative software development process. Experience with performance and optimization problems and the ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems. Familiarity with application performance monitoring and log analytics tools.
