That’s why we created Wizeline Academy, a free, community-based education program that teaches high-value skills to workers looking to advance their tech industry careers. To date, Academy has served more than 32,000 students with 250 instructors across 194 courses. Wizeliners have the opportunity to upskill by taking Academy courses and can also share their expertise by delivering classes to students.

Your day-to-day? Design, develop, evolve and maintain advanced applications for the Roku platform, that will be used by millions of users across the world. Writing clean and structured code that is compliant to the Roku domain standards. Make confident architecture and UX decisions based on skill, experience, and research. Evangelize your application across world-wide business users to increase adoption. Pioneer best practices, testing and coding standards for a fast growing company. Support application use at massive scale. Are you a fit? Must have Experience with BrightScript. Have published one or more Roku apps. Experience with the Roku ecosystem, including capabilities, limitations, and best practices across devices. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Strong communication skills in English. Nice to have The Roku apps you have published are used by millions of people. Experience with Redux, SceneGraph, and other Roku APIs. Experience with the Roku environment, including Roku Ad Framework, DeepLinking and Billing. Experience in streaming video delivery. BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related subjects. Unit/ instrumented Testing experience.
