Transformation Manager, DAXA & DAXO

Reporting of the role

This role reports into the Head of Transformation, DAX

Overview of the job

Work with the Head of Transformation - DAX, and stakeholders across the wider business, to deliver innovation and change across DAX Audio and Outdoor that contribute to sustainable commercial growth for Global.

Transformation Team Areas of Focus:

Change Leadership: manage the delivery of the initiatives on our three-year growth plan for DAX Audio, help identify, and project manage a programme of DAX Outdoor initiatives, and introduce a more rigorous culture across the business

Customer Success: understand our customer needs (internal and external) to help inform service and product improvements across DAX audio and outdoor

Strategic Planning: identifying and implementing strategies to grow the DAX business

Measure of success –

In the first few months you would have:

Understood the transformation programme, agreed projects to work on and lead, defined measures of success, and started to work with the key stakeholders to expand the workstreams and communicate the roadmap

Work with the Head of Transformation to create a consistency of process to deliver the most effective outcomes, by objective metrics

Been introduced to the core and adjacent departments to DAX to understand the ‘DAX internal ecosystem’

Work with the Heads of DAX Audio, Podcast, and Outdoor Sales to identify and test sales strategies to drive incremental growth for Global

Built an understanding of the competitive landscape and created hypotheses of where we can succeed, speaking to external contacts if possible

Understood Global’s broader strategic objectives to build more horizontal alignment within the business

Responsibilities of the role

Project management and delivery in audio and outdoor to grow DAX; framing opportunities in a structured, data-driven way and communicating progress with key stakeholders 

Work with DAX and aligned teams on new product development for DAX Audio and Outdoor 

Assist with milestone planning, delivery, and status updates on key transformation workstreams to drive incremental revenue from new product development 

Work with the Head of Transformation, Decision Sciences (Analytics), and Tech to track, analyse, and communicate the business impact of our initiatives  

Support the commercial sales team by understanding their needs and working with the agency teams to ensure targeted initiatives have the most impact 

Build an understanding of the market and our different external customer groups to inform everything we do 

Explore emergent ideas with the Head of Transformation that could drive future growth and further position DAX as a market leader in innovation 

What will you need

Ability to focus and prioritise key projects and workstreams

Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, consistent messaging to key stakeholders

Enjoy working autonomously and the curiosity to solve problems and create success

A growth mindset with interest in learning, asking questions, and not fearing failure

Ambitious and self-aware

Some understanding of the media agency and programmatic media landscape

Project management experience or an organised method to your thinking

The ability to simplify and present complex concepts to both senior leadership and operational teams
